Community Living Supports (CLS)

This Medicaid funded in-home and community support service focuses on daily living skills to achieve and/or sustain adults with developmental disabilities to live independently. The Program can assist and teach to meet the needs of the individual. Skills such as budgeting, cooking, housekeeping, social skill building, assistance to appointments, and shopping are common areas of need.

Eligibility requirements include access through Community Mental Health (CMH). The Arc Muskegon will also consider private pay consumers. The Arc Muskegon was one of the first providers of CLS in Muskegon, which began it’s Program in 1984.
